    Rate your AMHD experience.
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being tops, how would you rate the overall AMHD experience, taking everything into account.
    This is an anonymous poll.

Holy that's pretty vague. Sometimes the site is slow as molasses but then it's back to normal. Not sure what criteria you want us to use.

I agree with NK that it runs quite slowly sometimes, but other than that, it's still the best site for free advice and help.

My only problem with the site is that I wish there was more traffic.
Sometimes I find myself coming on about 10 times a day with no new dog posts.

I have recruited several people I know to join but they haven't made any posts yet

Other than that A grade site, unlike others out there, there are actual experts who you can trust rather than people just pretending to know what they are talking about.

This has been overall, the best site I have been on as far as question and answer and expert site and also the moderation of the site is top considering other sites are run down to the ground because in fighting all the time. Not saying it does not happen here but very much more controlled here, which makes for a better runned site.

I usually always rate high because I am easy to please usually but I gave the overall rating a 7.

It is not perfect. Why anonymous. Not scared to let people know what I think. Publicly and privately.

Okay going to be quite now before I get slapped or hit over the head with hammer.

    EDIT
P.S. 7 is my lucky number and such a good number. Maybe that is why I picked 7. Too me it is really good. Lol, Joe no sucking up.

The pokyness from time to time is the major drawback.

After midnight on weekends is the most likely time for whatever reason.

Just bumping this one up for a while.
Seems we have a 1, but no reasoning behind that.

If we don't know what's wrong how can we fix it ?

Did find that thread until Joe posted right now

I'll say... hmm, I know what to vote :)

And Shazzy, you'd be more bored if you were on the Dutch site... there hasn't been more than 20 questions for the past few weeks through the whole forum

Da bug guy is da bomb
But he really is a smart-aleck.

After Yahoo answers this is heaven. It's also the only one I got an answer on in three days when I first joined (about thermostat wiring).

    I voted 10 but I'm easy to please. ;)

Shazzy, you think the dog forum is slow, try the other pets forum. I get giddy when there's a new question. Sadly it's been a lot of fish questions lately and I know very little about fish, other then the fact that I really like them dipped in tartar sauce. ;)

I hope no-one thought I was complaining about the traffic... it was just an "I wish" thing ;)

I can go to YahooAnswers and see 100 dog questions every few minutes, but about 90% of them are trolls... 9% are idiots and 1% are genuine... There are only about 6 'answerers' who have a brain... that's why I'm here now!

I like the site - I'm giving it an 8...

Moderators keep things from getting too hairy or dirty, there's a core group of posters that are pretty smart (and funny too sometimes - heh), there's a flow of new posters some of which I wish would stay, others that I can't wait until they go... and I often get to learn new stuff like how to fix my furnace (just jokin', it's summer here at the moment), but if I had a furnace, I'd sure know how to fix it by looking at this site!

Only complaint is that I'm in Australia and I'm usually not on-line when the bulk of responses happen because that seems to happen US time, which is when I'm in the land of zzzzzzz.

There could be more questions (I tend to focus on Family & People), but I guess that takes time.

I voted a 9. I think this site is awesome. I have found all info I was looking for and more! I hope I am not one of the new posters that are "wished to be gone"! My only draw back is the slowness sometimes. Sometimes it boots me out and I loose my posts... yes, I know, I know, wrtie it in a word document and copy and paste... Yes I know. LOl. Other then that I REALLY like this site a lot! And I hope you all like me!
