    What is the best cover to use, when closing the pool to winter over in areas where freezing occurs.

    What kind of pool do you have?? My dad once used a rather large cover on his inground liner pool. Now he simply puts a net over the whole thing after the water level is lowered and the pipes blown out. That way it's easy to clean the leaves up in the spring.
