I am having trouble creating an account with gmail (Google) what ever I use for an email address gets rejected. I put a name and numbers @gmail, no good, I then put just a name @ gmail, still rejected. Is anyone having trouble with this as well.

    Hi, chelseagirl!

Do you mean that you're having trouble creating an email address with them or putting your alternative/regular email address in with them so that you can be registered with them?

    Thanks!

    Hi
Yes I am having trouble creating an email address with them. They reject everything I type in @gmail. I need another email address, but g mail does not appear to want me to join.

I'm on the gmail sign-up page right now in order to try to help you.

Have you filled out everything that they ask for on that page?

    Thanks!

Have you double and even triple-checked the password that you want to use?

I always do that when signing up for a site. It's easy to make mistakes doing that because it all looks like *********

Try not using the @ symbol as it is automatically entered for you.
    You may be typing yourname@gmail@gmail..

I just thought of something else, chelseagirl!

And, that would be your password strength. Have you gotten indications that it might not be strong enough?

I just created a new account with gmail and didn't have any problems, other than trying to read the funky code word that you have to type in.

Well, it looks like chelseagirl is now logged-off from this site.

chelseagirl, please double and triple check anything that you do to create an account.

I suspect that you're just leaving something out or not paying attention to the messages that happen, once you've typed something in.

The messages can happen so fast, that they're easy to miss. I've missed those sort of things previously.

    Thanks!
