    Short phrase
I'm trying to find an expert to translate a short phrase, "trust is earned", into latin for a tattoo. I've found online at various translation sites "fides est meritus", but because this is going to be permanently written on my body I want to make sure it is correct. I understand there may not be a direct translation, so what ever is closest I can deal with.

Short Latin phrase [ 2 Answers ]

Last I checked there were no real Latin experts here, but there certainly were people who know more than me. I'm trying to find a Latin equivalent for the phrase "Think ouside the box," or even just, "outside the box." I sure would appreciate any ideas!
