Haven't heard that one. I tend to use it to make a really great salad dressing by mixing with extra virgin olive oil and garlic, but some people take it in hot water.

I did find out at the Young Scientists Exhibition in Dublin that it cures warts better than any other natural remedy.

As far as I remember, you just rub it on a few times a day. They go black, then shrivel up and die.

Not sure about sinus infection but blocked noses clears if you use eucalyptus oil.
Put a few drops in hot water and inhale.

Yes you can use cider vinegar this way. Get a neti pot or a sinus rinse bottle mix up your packet solution which comes with the neti pot, or rinse bottle according to directions, to this solution add an eighth to a quarter teaspoon of cider vinegar, shake and use according to directions.

Note too much cider vinigar will STING enormously and leave you gasping, the trick is to use just a little use for two or three days, several times a day, until your sinuses clear up then just use the packet solution once or twice a day to prevent sinus infections and to reduce allergens during the year. The neti pot and sinus rinse bottles are recommended by ENT specialists for the last seven or eight years that I know of and have been in common usage in India for century's, and in east Indian communities in North America for as long as they have been here too.

Cider vinegar has been in use in the Natural health communities for many many years and before Pharmaceutical companies started developing patent medicines(many of which were crap for money) because you can't patent natural remedies advertising and Americas love affair with 'science' we lost many working natural remedies since the rise of pharmaceutical companies.

Most grocery stores carry cider vinegar, if your doesn't you can ask them to special order it for you. Its quite cheap, you can also go to your health food store and they will sell you a more expensive organic not pasteurised version but you will have to filter the sediment.
