I got a variety of results... So, I didn't post them.
What needs to happen now, is to know why martinwyatt is needing the translation.
If it's for a tattoo, then it's best to be getting a few opinions as far as the translation is concerned. If it's for something else, it would be helpful to know about that.

Of course if it is for a tattoo you would most certainly want to find the most accurate answer possible. I have a friend who got a tattoo of a chinese symbol and it really didn't end up the translation he wanted.

That will happen, so we have to be very careful here...
It's best to advise that people get at least several translations.
