    Can rigid foam be placed over the floor joists then the subfloor open crawlspace?
    Is it possible in an open crawl space situation, dirt floor only 8/12 inches of clearance to put rigid foam board over the floor joists, just like a subfloor, then attach 3/4 inch plywood subfloor. My concern would be creating moisture on the floor joists

    Are you saying the joists are open right now with no sub floor at all?
