I had my belly button pierced about a year ago, its healed now can I get it repierced
I thought every thing was going fine although my friends told me the gap of skin between each pierced hole was too big a gap compared to thiers. It had a few infections and then an absess. The absess was really big so I took it out. Everything seems to be fine now, but can I want it done again. Can I get it repierced over scar tissue? Please help :-)

Depending on the piercer and how bad the scar tissue is they will usually try to go around scar tissue and pierce it in a different location. Make sure you go to a piercer you trust and are good at what they do. You don't need to spend 60+ dollars to have it removed because they don't know what they're doing. Talk to him/her and see what the options are and how he or she thinks the results will be before you drop the money into it. Belly buttons are temperamental and easily irritated so make sure you keep it clean and take proper care of it. My friend has had 7 piercings and the scars never go away. |

Okay so I just got my belly button pierced and I'm wondering if I should do anything else besides the salt water to keep it from getting infected. 'The piercer also said that I could put polysporin on the barbell, is there anyting else that helped anyone? :) :)
