    What is the difference between the boiling points of water and liquid nitrogen
    Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius liquid nitrogen boils at about -196 degrees Celsius what is the difference between the boiling points of water and liquid nitrogen?

    If you're asking what is the difference between them that makes them having such different boiling points, then you have to have a knowledge of hydrogen bonds present among water molecules which hold them tightly together.

    Moreover, a water molecule is polar, and not a nitrogen molecule. Those two effects both contribute (hydrogen bonding more) to the boiling points you can see.
