    Would you call this prostitution?
If I sent racy/naked pics to someone and he paid me for them, is that considered some sort of prostitution?

Yes. Anytime you accept money for something sexually based it's considered prostitution.

You should also know that you could be charged for distributing child pornography, seeing as you're a minor. The feds are really cracking down on this.

And/ or, depending on your age also,
If the person taking and sending the photos ( or even if the receiver is) a minor, it is also a lot of other laws involved.

    Hello j:

No. It's called modeling. You'd have to actually engage in sex before it would be prostitution.

    Hello alty:

Simply sending nude pics isn't illegal, and it's not prostitution. That's all I'm saying, cause that's all I had to go by. I didn't consider that she's a minor. Your memory is MUCH better than mine, and you're pertier than me too.

I agree, just sending nude pics isn't illegal, if you're an adult, nor is it prostitution.

The OP is 14, so it's definitely illegal. Considering her other problems I'd say she's on a fast track to jail. I hope it's worth it.

    I hope I'm prettier then you, I'm a girl! Boys aren't pretty, they're handsome.

This "Joyous failure" is a worriesome character, right? Her posts are something else. Now taking money for nude pics.. Joyous: Did you give any consideration to where they would be distrubted? If you can ask an adult for assistance in retrieving these photos so as not to find yourself plastered all over town. Please seek help, your on a fast track to destruction and you are young enough to stop it and turn your life around. Nothing is that bad that you have to throw your life away on bad choices. What's going on with you?

And p.s. excon is very handsome...

Msme, if I'm going with my gut on this one, I have to say that I'm pretty sure the our little Joyousfailure is a troll.

She posts things that she knows will get people upset, outraged, concerned.

    She just wants attention.

But, on the off chance that she really is this screwed up, I'll continue answering, for now. ;)

At 14 it is illegal not only to take, and to send, but also to buy, so buyer and seller.

Assuming they are nude, everyone in her school could get copies, she could end up seeing them taped to her school locker. Her pastor could get a copy, someone may even send a copy to her parents

While they would be taken down, temp they could go up on Facebook or some other site

I said "if" didn't I? And no, not trolling, your gut instincts are wrong here. Why should it be illegal just cause of my age? So what, cause I'm 14 the gov't has a right to stop me from making money? And yet they won't even let me get a job? AND if they allowed me to get a job, most of my earnings would go straight back to them through taxes. THAT, my friends, is wrong, and THOSE people are the REAL criminals. No way, not going to happen, not going to let them keep me down.

    Rant over.

And I know this guy well, and trust him. We don't even go to the same school.
