    Pet Stains
Anyone have any good recommendations for removing pet stains out of burber (I think that's what it's called) carpet? I usually use an industrial cleaner made by Hartz, but poor lady had a bit of the runs and used the potty in my daughters room, just happens to be where the white carepet is... I am getting ready to use bleach, but I am afraid this will ruin the carpets. I have used Lysol, laundry soap, and Mr. Clean, plus of course the Hartz Pet Stain remover. Any other ideas?

I have never had a problem, on occasion in the past, getting this type of stain out of carpet by using simple dishwashing detergent and elbow grease. Don't use bleach. The type of carpet is Berber.

Dish soap like Sunlight would work. Blot a lot while you are working on it with paper towels, put them down and stomp on them, you will see the stain lift out.

I use White King laundry detergent. I'm not sure if it's available in the US but it's fantastic, my rugs came up like new.
Just mix some of the powder up in hot water and leave to soak for a while on the stain.

The Dawn did not work. It was a really black tar like poo, it had started to dry a bit before it was found. I think I may have to rent one of those carpet cleaner things from the grocery store. I'll have a look for White King, not sure if they have it in Canada either.

If you don't get it immediately, you can forget it , even with carpet cleaners. No you won't find White King, I live in Ontario and have never seen it.

    Let me think !

Yikes! Well day 6 of scrubbing, the carpet is starting to waer down, but I think it looks whiter lol. I bought one of those Oxy clean spray spot removers, with this battery operated scrubber, I don't know if it is working, I think I will have to move her floor rug about a 2 feet to the left to hide the stain...
