"Um, well, there was a pile of snow, it was really tall, I wanted to see if it was taller then me so I jumped in. It was taller then me."

    So I asked if she shoveled any snow. Her response;

"I was going to but I couldn't get out of the pile I jumped in to. When I finally got out I was cold and wet so I came in. Can't Jared do it, or Daddy, or you? I'm little".

It's really hard to argue with an adorable 7 year old with rosy red cheeks and wet socks.

I made her hot chocolate with little marshmellows on top.

    I'm a bad mom. :(
That is possibly the most brilliant excuse I've ever heard :D

The thing is, it's true. I looked outside, saw the hole, the little hand prints from Sydney digging herself out.

    I laughed myself silly. :D

That little stinker, she got out of shoveling! :(

My own fault. She is a mini me after all, I should have seen this coming. ;)

    Awesome Idea, and great start.

We need all the warm we can get. Considering it is going to dip to -30 tomorrow night.

Yes, spell of cold, wintry blizzards have hit but within another week we should be in the warm Chinook weather again.

Joe, why do we live in Alberta again? I ask myself that every year.

I was close to convincing hubby to move to Hawaii. We could live on the beach, the kids could collect coconuts and I'd make grass skirts and coconut bras to sell to the tourist. Life would be simple, and warm. ;)

Lol, Used to all the winter. Seems does not matter where I live in Canada. East Coast, Central Canada or Alberta. We can swallow a good snowstorm. As long as I am not driving in it, I love it. Yes, very much colder then Ontario, very much windier but still loving it all the same. I am predicting summer whether on Christmas day, hope it is not just for Toronto but for us here. Would be awesome. Lol

I am a strange Canadian. I would prefer the cold and mild temps to the hot hot weather in the south.

Are those coconuts or something else?

I totally thought I'd have to find a link for you so you'd know who I was talking about.

What was that birds name? Zazu?

I also love the "Are you achen, for some bacon?" song that Pumba and Timon sang. :)
