    The age of father is twice the square of the age of his son.
    The age of father is twice the square of the age of his son. Eight years hence, the age of the father will be 4 years more than three times the age of the son. Find present ages?

    Find the value of and that will give you the son's age. If you plug it into either side you will get the father's age.

    *Hint, this looks a lot like a quadratic equation.
