Yellow is going to go to the top of the cap with the other yellow already hooked up
The brown will go to the B marked on the top right of the mother board and the violet will go to the bottom of the cap?

Look at page 21 at the drawing. Then look at IDM which is your draft inducer motor. Then look at V10 which is Violet=Purple then to W50 then to CM. Then you will see where the wire goes.
This wiring is for a 3 phase unit BUT all the units use single phase for this part of the wiring.
Always check voltages when connecting and I believe that fan is 230 volt not 23 volt.
That little motor also has a capacitor also so you should have got a new one since they go bad or can cause the motor to fail. The capacitor is a lot cheaper that a new motor so I suggest you replace it also.

You don't understand I don't uderstand this
I have no idea what w50 is.
You have to put it in "lay man terms"
Yellow to cap top
Purp to cap bottom
Brown to mother board

The link has a drawing. It is very simple and I explained what page etc so you would have no problems. The wiring works its way back to the circuit board and CM is marked on the board. The wiring diagram shows you what colors off the motor goes where so as to mak it simple for you to figure out and that is why I posted it to start with to make it easier for you to see how it was wired. I also meant what I said about the capacitor for that motor you are replacing. If it is weak or defective the new motor you just bought will go out and then you will have to buy another motor since any warranty you got with the new part will not be covered.
BTW CM stands for Combustion Motor. As in the combustion motor terminal on the circuit board where it is located.
Good luck

Single-phase induction motor versus 3Phase-induction motor
[ 1 Answers ]
I know the advantages of 3phase induction motor (IM) when compared with a single-phase IM one. However I need to justify using a single-phase IM (main and auxiliary windings) with a 3 legs inverter instead a 3phase IM with also a 3 legs inverter.
Are the single-phase IM cheaper the 3phase one...
