A picture of the view directly outside your door.
The title explains itsself. I want to see a picture of the view outside your front door. I know its random but we are all from different parts of the world so I think it will be interesting! I will post one as soon as I get home.

You wouldn't want to see the crappy 'outside my door' view but here is the view just seconds walking from my front door over looking the Ohio River at the Sewickley Bridge. Mario Lemieux's (Penguins hockey) house is somewhere under the trees toward the left hand side. You can't see the river or bridge because the trees on my side grew too tall.

I don't have a recent one, but this is a picture from last winter. Actually, it was spring, freak snow fall, but I digress.
Here it is;
This is in April!
I live in Canada. Need I say more? ;)

Well, those are great! With the Autumn leaves, felt like I was back in the Smokeys and then the snow:D I miss snow:(
I have one with some dying grass, so I took a picture outside the back door also.
This is a couple steps out the front door, ignore the grass, Hubby thinks he is doing good.

This is out the back, it was to rain today (and didn't) so no cushions are out.

Ok so the first picture is OF our house not the view from it but I took the "after" photo today and went wow...
We bought the house about 8 months ago and it was in pretty bad shape, I forgot to take a before photo so I used an old one from Google Street, it looked pretty much the same when we moved in.
We took out lots and lots and lots of yukky bushes and fixed up the lawn, I'm very proud of my effort... we have planted flowers in the garden beds but have to wait until they grow for the final "after" photo :)
The next one is a pic from our back stairs, the little garden shed, our mini fern garden and the hills behind it all.
OH, and that disgusting fence out the front is going too, I hate it!!

My new neighbours have just gutted their mature garden and are going to concrete it...
The women before them loved the garden and spent hours planting and weeding... to each his own.

That's sad :(
If our garden was half decent I would have kept it, I think the old owners of our place just bought the shrubs, put them in the ground and left them for about 10 years
The one near the letterbox was so prickly!

Of course we are!
I was thinking that your backyard looks just like somewhere in Australia Just Dahlia - of course the climate in California is very similar...
Alty's snow is the one that got me - my front yard NEVER looks like that!

Mine did when I lived in the Cicago area and I miss that part. I don't miss shoveling out a parking spot (a lot of work with 3 feet) to come home and some Jack A$$ taking it. Of course if you turn it around I would be the Jack A$$. First come first serve.:D

Let's trade. Come to New England where it rains all spring and summer and snows all winter. And in between it's just gray, but we have those pretty red, gold and orange leaves that last for a month or two! Nice pics though, I'm quite jealous.
And isn't Australia in summer now?

Gem, that's nothing. That's a freak snowfall in April. In the winter the snow piled up on the front lawn can get taller then me. I'm 5'11" by the way. ;)

How do you hook up a RCA TV (with picture in a picture feature active) Direct Tv satelitte receiver, vcr, colby dvd player? We have had the RCA Tv for some time but never used the picture in a picture feature cause we did not know how to do this. I know you have to have a vcr in order to do it....
