To do or not to do?
I have been going out with this girl for sometime now and the subject of shaving my pubic area has popped up... and I knew that it would because of all the porn stars now days. I mean, don't get me wrong, I keep that area groomed and all but I'm a bit scared of the blade. My question is if I were to shave, would there be any bad side effects? Like, I'm sure that during intercourse, my skin will be more likely to get bothered, but is there any other risks out there if you shave? So should I or what?

If your that afraid of putting a razor down there, don't feel obliged to do so. However, if you do choose to take that risk and trust your hands - there are no "side effects" of shaving your pubic area - Just make sure the area is lathered up nicely and it's a good blade - if not, you'll end up with uncomfortable razor burn - and believe me, the sweat and whatever other liquids you make during sex, don't feel good on irritated skin down there. :)

If she was the one that brought it up maybe she will shave it for you. I shave my husbands all the time and he shaves mine. We have never had any side effects but as far as it bothering you we haven't had any erritations yet. By the way don't use a razor, when my husband shaves his he uses a mustache trimmer but not the same one he uses on his face.
