If you're studying law right now then you should be somewhat familiar with the issues that the professor is concentrating on. Go back and look at the question. The first sentence says someone slipped and fell. Does that give them a right to sue? Is there anything else in the first sentence that might support a right to sue?

Now look at the second paragraph. Is there anything in there that might be a valid defense in a lawsuit? Is there anything else in that paragraph that might support a defense to a lawsuit?

I'm an accident investigator - liability varies from State to State. Some States require advance notice and no attempt to rectify a dangerous situation.

    What State?
