    Washing machine fills and then quits
    I have a Roper sm8280871 washing machine that fills to level dialed in but then does nothing more.

    Sounds like the lid switch is not closing

    Usually the lid switch won't allow the washer to enter the spin cycle.

    What happens if you advance the timer a little bit manually?

    Does any of the other functions work when advancing the timer?

    How about other cycles like gentle?
