Full Moon Madness or Lunacy. Do You Think Such a Thing Really Exists?
Hi, All!
I do. I'm wondering what others think? I always feel a little bit weird around the time of a full moon. Just not quite as "in-sync" as I might be...
Any others, too? Or, not? Perhaps some people might be more susceptible to it than others?
What about policeman who might be witness to the way that people are at certain times of the month, or healthcare professionals?
All opinions are welcome. It is, after all, a matter of opinion. Perhaps logical opinions and expressions about the way people feel and think about it might be helpful and beneficial to others?
This thread, will no doubt, get excellent exposure on the Internet when people search for the subject!
Thanks!

Hi Clough!
Yes the full moon does seem to affect me-yesterday's made me go all sentimental and a bit weepy!
It would be interesting to find out if guards in prisons notice any changes in the inmates ?

Hi, amicon!
Yes, finding out about how people who work or have worked in prisons could potentially be an excellent perspective on something like this!
Thanks for responding!

Clough, we schedule extra nurses during the full moon. We always get a TON of patients. Either laboring patients (mostly), or outpatients who think they are in labor.
Our ER schedules extra security on the nights of the full moon as well.

Oddly the night of the full moon makes me feel pretty calm and whatnot
However on the few days running up to the full moon and for like two days after I usually get pretty odd especially if I have consumed any alcohol O_o

Hi, amicon!
A "New Moon" is the dark one. Correct?
Thanks!

Back in the early 60's I lived and worked in South Beach, ( this is before it went "upscale".) I had a favorite bar on Collins I would hang out at.
On the night of a full moon the crazies would come out of the woodwork.
Trust me! A full moon will affect you and it hits the mentally unstable first and the hardest. I was there and saw it in action. Cheers, tom

The full moon most definitely affects my ability to sleep.
I feel restless, toss and turn and very often have the most vivid dreams at the full moon.

Hi All!
Then, I'm wondering why some people would poo-poo the idea that "full-moon madness" or "lunacy" is something that doesn't really happen to anyone?
Thanks!
