    Over active glands
Is there any way to reduce or get rid of an over active gland?
Besides going to your doctor and having it lanced.

3 inches below the collar bone and a little toward the center, no discomfort, but in an area that can be seen. There's no meat under it, although if it was 20 years ago there might have been.:)

I am a little confused here, you say an over active gland and the only gland I can possibly think of being close to the area you mention is your thyroid gland which isn't in plain view, Dahlia.

If it is something that has to be lanced, it would have to be a boil, which isn't a gland.

Maybe you can explain a little more so we can resolve this.

Well, I guess I really have no clue what I was talking about. I was told it was an over active gland, almost like a blemish but never coming to surface, but at this point it seems to be going away slowly, so maybe it was just a non itching bug bite.

I'm outside so much, I hardly notice bites until the look funny.

So if it's not a gland, it must be a bite. (it doesn't look like a boil)

Thanks though, If it's still there when I go to the doctors, I'll have him check it out.:)
