Hey, I've got these questions and I don't know anyone to talk to and then I found this site and I hope you could help me.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months now. Before we got together my best friend knew that I fancied him but stole him away in front of my face. They didn't last long and I got together with him. He didn't know I loved him before and says that if he could turn back time he would. But still it hurts me sometimes. Still it's hard for me sometimes.

But because he knows that I've always loved him I feel like he's taking me for granted now. A few things happened last months and it leaves me crying in my room without him knowing , while he is having good times without me.

First of all I pay a lot more for him than he does for me. He forgot his money and I bought him beer for 1 whole night, and later on we went out, he bought me 1 beer and the next was on me again...

He also spends every Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday with his mates , and I feel like I'm filling in the gaps he has during the work-week... I don't want to be a girlfriend like that. I want him to realize I'm also his girlfriend in the weekend and the whole week. I would like him to spend some weekends or evenings in the weekend with me as well , and NOT because I want him to, but because HE wants to himself:(

Right now I feel like he doesn't really love me if he doesn't care enough about spending at least an evening with me or wonder what I'm doing all weekend.

Last week he went out with his friends again and I went somewhere else because he doesn't even ever ask me to come along and a boy gave me flowers, told me he liked me for a long time already. I told him a have a boyfriend, but I felt flattered. Then he said ' If you were my girl, I would want to spend as many Saturday nights with you as I could'. Sometimes I'm sad that I do not fall for guys like him, he was so sweet but just not my type. So my boyfriend heard about it and got jealous . He told me to call next time a guy did that so he could come and 'save' me. I asked him why call him if he could have just been there with me if he really wanted to...

I've never been the one talking about my feelings and I might just be too scared losing him when speaking up, even though I know he is not a person who would dump me for that..

My questions are:
- should I talk to him?
- If yes, what should I say and how should I begin
- Should I talk about everything or just the main point?
- Is it good for him to get jealous once in a while?

You, yourself, know if you feel that this situation you are in is one that is something that you just want at this time or a relationship that will grow into something stronger. This is probably the toughest question that anyone ever asks of themselves. You have to be honest with yourself. Be good to yourself. You write like a very sweet person, be happy, there are enough tough situations in life to face to waste any time being unhappy. Good luck

Yes you should talk to him, tell him everything... and yes it is good that he gets jelous...
Don't worry about if he is going to leave you or not, from what I see here he is not worth the effort
