ALMS* Giving In Hinduism*
Alms giving in hinduism means a permanent solution for the problems like poverty- one can see the intention of hinduism through those items which it includes in the Alms giving group- hinduism do not have the interest to give a temporary solution for problems like poverty- more than hinduism targeting on Self sufficiency- Alms giving which leads to those people who received into a standard of self sufficiency is hinduism really focussing- this is the main difference between Alms giving in Hinduism and other religions- in the Alms giving group, hinduism includes -House ,water ,food ,shoes ,umbrellas, domestic animals ,furniture ,learning , and Land- for home and agriculture. All these items have the power to full filling the basic needs of human beings- hinduism says .- He who gives a House to a poor family obtains a Town.-.-He who gives a pair of Shoes obtains a vehicle.-He who gives an umbrella (the giver) obtains a house-. By giving a couch and a seat (the giver becomes) master of a harem. -A giver of water (becomes) rich by (the fulfilment of) all his desires and also will obtain after death complete freedom.A giver of food (will have) beautiful eyes and a good memory.According to vasishta samhitha -``Through Alms giving to poor obtains all his desires,
(Even) longevity and becomes free from disease-
Perhaps hinduism is the only religion in this world had told its followers to give a percentage of their land to poor families-`` Whatever sin a man distressed for livelihood commits, (from that) he is purified by giving land, (be it) even "a bull's hide."' 16`` says by hindu religious text vasishta samhitha -it also says `` 'They declare that Cows-Domestic animals-, Land -Land for agriculture and Land for House- , and Learning are the three most excellent gifts. It also had a tangible effect on the lives of so many people - over 5 million acres (20,000 kmē were donated- also economic principles of Mahatma ghandhi which based on self sufficiency came from hinduism.:(
