Birth certicficate wrong
I lost my birth certificate, ordered another one. It has a different middle name from the one I used when I joined the Air Force in 77, retired in 97. I had to use it to get another SSN card and Missouri drivers' licence. Now I am going by "Lance" instead of "Laird." for my middle name. What do I do?

You need to file with the vital statistic records in the county where you were born to have it changed (where you got this last one). They may require a fee even though it was their mistake but you might be able to convince them that it was theirs so you shouldn't be charged. |
