For senior women 75+ about childhood game
When we were in public school and we wanted to know if anyone was suited for a person of the oppossit sex we would write down the female's name and then the male's name below it and cross off similar letters in each name and then we would recite a rote to each letter that wasn't crossed off and get an answer. My question is: Does anyone recall what the rote was? I know that it wasn't: He loves me, he loves me not. Several of my senior friends have been trying to recall it I hope someone has a better memory than I have. I hope someone has a better memory than I have.
