    Company in business growing up
I need a technical letter of introductory for a magazine article. The company I started working for in March of 2009 has no presence in the area. Over the past few months we have grown the company into a thriving business. I have been asked to write a letter on its behalf. The business is a service group for oil and gas. We do everything from pipeline construction, to well hookup, valve and pipe sales, integrity work for pipelines, repair pipelines. I have a small staff but we are moving quickly. So do you have any ideas?:)

    Hi, ngoings!

I apologize that no one has yet come along to address your question!

If you would like to post a draft of such a letter here, without putting any contact information in it, I'm sure that there will be those of us who'll be willing to suggest to you how you might make improvements to it.

    Thanks!

1099 for out of business company [ 2 Answers ]

The company was out of business in April, 2005. We made some payments to this company for the first 3 months in 2005. Their phone is disconnected. We are not able to contact anyone in the company. No tax id obtained. No withholding. Is it still make sense to file 1099 for this company?
