    How can I become a resident?
    I am a international student, going to have my AS degree and transfer to another university. But I found out if I am a TX resident, a lot of doors will open up for me, how can I become a TX resident?

    No. Any international Student can obtain the green card, only by being a student, even if many doors will open for you. That is not possible by any means. You must seek a work permit on another status, H1, J1 or other visas, depending on your nationality.
