    Medical Coverage after 18
    Hi,

My husband's daughter is 18 and graduated high school. The divorce papers state that he was responsible for 50% of the bills above and beyond his medical coverage. She is on our medical till she turns 23. Does he still have to pay the 50% above and beyond after child support is done, once she is 18?

    Thank you

That is part of child support. If the cash support ends, so does the medical requirements, assuming there is nothing in the support order that specifically states otherwise.

In California the answer would be no.

No, this will end when the child support ends, the time frame she may remain on your insurance has no bearing on this
