Ceiling fan with 1, 3 way and 1, 3 way dimmer switch
Thinking of buying a Harbor Breeze Model: E AER52BP5LKRC ceiling fan. I still want to control the holagon light with the 0ne 3 way switch and one 3 way dimmer and the fan portion with the remote (unless there is another way to control the fan) The three way wires pass through the ceining box. How would this be wired to do what I want?
    Thanks.

Assumes that power is being fed to ceiling fixture. Dimmer switch can be in either location.

Didn't the remote come with the ability to dim the light to start with?

You could bypass the remote for the light portion only, control it with your three way switches and the fan from the remote. You would want to feed a separate hot and neutral through the motor to the light.

    I STRONGLY recommend buying a fan that's

    1. Not remote
    2. Not Hampton Bay or Harbor Breeze.
