    European phonetic characters
    I am designing a web site for my final project in web design. The concept is that a fictional "professor" shows the viewer unusual trivia, links to odd sites, and so on. I would like to name the professor after a cat I have. "Dr. Hook." But the phonetic pronunciation is "Hoo-ook." Is there a scandinavian character that represents the "ook" sound?
