I went to salon azure they use aveda products. I asked to have my hair a light brown and got black with orange streaks!! She is supposed to be a specialist. She actually is a instructor and she should know how to do this. I spent $156 to achieve this and the result was a shocker! WOW should I consider a different salon that uses different products? Apparently aveda products are all natural and maybe the reason that it did not turn out right? I don't know?

You should go to a different salon. It might not be the product but the stylist. Some salons hire inexperienced workers or people who barely know any English. The stylist could have not heard you. Try going to a different salon. Maybe one that your Mom, Dad, Sister, or Husband go to.

I worked as a stylist for 5years in an aveda concept salon! Was actually a color coach! I love their product n color line! And as far as new stylist being uneducated? I'm positive that every aveda concept salon requires all stylist to go through intensive education on all products and uses along w complete understanding of hair color and even specific standards for cutting techniques! You need to go back to salon! They should correct your color at no charge! I'm so sorry for your experience! If you do decide to just find a new salon ask the salon coordinator to recommend a stylist for you! Ask questions! Also all salons allow you to make a consultation appointment! Its usually free n it gives you 15min or so to discuss what you want with the stylist! She will make suggestions n give you tips! If you think you like her n like her ideas? Schedule an appointment w her! This also helps you avoid getting that feesh out of beauty school brand new stylist! Lol!
