    Need to keep my job
I have felony convictions for, grand theft auto, possession of a fire arm, possession of cds with the intent to sell. Is there anyway for me to get government clearance to work on these secret jobs the company I am curently working for are now converting to?

Not a chance, in fact I can't believe you were able to get a high security job ( that did not require a clearance.)

I know people that have trouble with bad credit, or just simple possession)

Your present company may re-run your background check and all those convictions will come out. You may find yourself out of a job due to your criminal background if the government is using your company. I've seen it happen before so don't be too surprised if it happens to you.
