Eg, fave T-Shirt, fave Jumper, Tracksuit Bottoms, Trainers etc etc?

Are you asking how much someone goes against the school uniform policy?

Could you please restate the question without slang and in proper English? I am American and that just confused the heck out of me. Oh but FYI if I did read that right... I am a girl, and went to private institution for 7 years, I once went so far out on mine that they changed the uniform restrictions the next day. Hooray for clown costume pieces!!

Well seeing that the term "Chav" is NOT meant as a compliment and you must comply with your school's dress code, I wouldn't even attempt to circumnavigate them.

I think school uniforms are stupid and I hate them. They should just have a strict NO this and NO that policy.

Like being Emo?? I personally think it's new-wave for the younger kids... That or they finally figured out that due to our parents ability to not conform it was the most proper way to rebel. I even have theories!

Very much worse than Emo, which has roots in Gothic culture.
Think lazy and slovenly..

Both a bit, the latter was my opinion about Emo kiddos, the former was a question about the term. I had no idea what a Chav was... :( yay for being American

I'm confused what this thread is about?
School uniforms?
If so,I agree with school uniforms, less of a chance for the kids who can't afford the new 'in' clothes to get bullied, also less pressure on the parents to supply the latest 'gear'.
Have I gone totally off track?

I think you misunderstood Red's post. She (yes, she! Red is a gal) was in favour of uniforms, and not types of clothing like Emo or Chav.
