I know just how you feel. My friend of four years died from an overdose a few months ago and I cried for so long. I actually cried today about it. I felt horrible because the last time I talked to him it was about somebody I didn't like and I was ing to him. I didn't even ask how he was or anything. I do feel guilty because I should have paid more attention to his problems. I miss him so much and wish I could have helped. But I know I can't do anything now so ill I can do is think of the happy times. And that's all you can do as well.

But you're right; we can't do anything now except remember the good times. Beating ourselves up about it won't make things any better, and I'm sure they wouldn't want us to feel so bad all the time.

Hey Zippit

No, I didn't. I found the newspaper, but it didn't have an online guest book or anything, or if it did, I couldn't find it. :/ So I looked for the church, and it had the funeral scheduled there, but no online guest book, either.

I also had tried the writing group at the library, but they weren't interested right now.

So, I'm going to keep writing for him and put plants in the garden in memory of him.
