Okay, today I found around a hundred of these little guys on the underside of my cupboard above my sink. At first I saw them on what looked like a piece of light gray mold, but wasn't mold, about an inch long and about 1/16th of a inch wide. I would take a picture and post it, but I don't have a camera that could take one with a resolution that would be of any use, so here is my description:

They look like a tiny, tiny worm and move like a caterpillar when on a flat surface (front first, then scrunch the back side to the head and move the head forward again).

They have a darker head (almost black) and a dark body, but not quite as dark (like a dark brown).

They seem to spin a single strand of web that they crawl along at times. I have seen multiple (up to three) crawling along the same strand.

I have spent hours entering in many different descriptions into Google but to no avail, so hopefully someone else has seen something like this before. I think I have gotten rid of all of them, but its just bothering me that I'm still don't know what they are.

Don't relax just yet. It sounds like the larvae of some type of "pantry pest."

Check all of your dried goods, like flour, boxed stuffing mix, raw nuts, cereal, etc. for mor of the "webbing." Pay special attention to the bottoms and backs of boxes. If you have any birdseed check it very carefully as well.
