    d-drive cant read burned cds
    Just as I've recovered from my stop error problem now I've got a new problem, my d-drive can't read any of my burned cds anymore. It can read normal dvds, I've done a complete system recovery and lost all my files but it still didn't solve my problem, I've uninstalled the driver, updated it but still burned cds can't be read. My os is media center edition 2005 which is built in my PC. I've also done a Microsoft system recovery which I have an option for and it installs the factory settings including all the drivers but for some reason it still doesn't work. PLEASE HELP!

    I had a similar issue and found that a simple CD/DVD lens cleaning disc worked wonders ;)
