Craftsman riding mower runs out of gas.
    Hi,

We have a Craftsman riding mower (Kholer engine) that runs out of gas every 2 or 3 minutes. Well, the fuel filter runs dry. If you raise the hood and shake the fuel line you can get gas to go into the filter and it will run again for a few minutes. We have replaced the fuel filter twice and the fuel line has been replaced. The carburetor bowl has been cleaned. The fuel filter is a Craftsman filter not an original Kohler. Does anyone have any ideas?
    I appreciate anyone time! Thanks!

    Weak or bad fuel pump...

Check for fuel line connections that may be loose and or a bad one to carb. Once you determined that all lines are tight and not kinked then its to the needle and seat at the carb. If this is working well and the carb float is set right then its to the fuel pump that's bad.
