    Dividend tax proposal
    President Bush had proposed changes to the tax law to ensure that taxes on dividends are not paid twice. Does anyone know if this was ever passed? I've checked everywhere and all I can find are references to the proposal but not actual changes to the tax code.

    Just checked my professional association's website. Nothing has passed that affects dividends.
