    Cashier versus certified check
    A buyer has offered to pay a large purchase by cashier check. What is the difference between cashier and certifiied check. The purchase is a home. Thanks,

    Cashier versus certified check
    A certified check is a personal check that the owner has stamped by his or her bank saying that the funds are there. A Cashier's check is kind of like a money order on a grander scale, in that the owner has to lay out the cash in order to purchase it. If it were me... I'd take the cashier Check
