    Looking for song title about Hank Williams death
    When I was little my dad used to sing a song to me and when he passed away no one could help me find the title, artist or even has heard of the song. Could you please help me. Some of the lyrics are as follows... " the chauffer reached into the back and shook the sleeping man, he said wake up, wake up my friend and took him by the hand.. . rushed him into to town... the doctor said to late my friend, he's gone to the promise land... Hank Williams here's to you.

    Sorry that I can't give you more lyrics but I would appreciate any help you may be able to give me. This song is more sentimental then anything.
