Hi there my loyal subjects! Ironclad needs help? I was thinking about taking up the guitar and trying to learn how to play it! But the problem is, I don't know where to begin?? Any advice for the basics of a beginner?

I want to learn how to play both electric and acoustic but I don't know where to begin, what's easier anyway? I'm into slow classic rock and when I'm good I want to be able to play some metal like metallica, but that's me dreaming, I need some heavy basics first, I'm a pretty good learner so I'm not too worried?? Hope this helps?

    Hi again, ironclad04!

I've already asked you previously what kind of guitar it is that you have. Do you own a guitar?

    Thanks!

Well I know about the positioning of the fingers for the chords? Certain strumming for the chords to produce good sound affect, my father used to play, but I didn't bother asking at the time? But nothing major, I'm just starting, but if I can get that down patt, I can start practicing diff. kinds of music I like, and hopefully write my own!

Tuning to the tunes is one thing. Really tuning it is another. The intervals between most of the strings shouldn't have any beats between them.

What are the letter names of your strings, bottom to top, please?

    Thanks!
