    Plant id.
Does anybody know who this is? I just got him from the clearance rack and the store only identified him as "model 4.8 tropical."
I tried searching Google images, but I don't have much to go on. I want to plant him with a chicken gizzard that I got off the same rack, but I don't know if they like the same conditions.
    Thanks in advance

Gee I think I have seen this plant somewhere. Does it look like this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...uana_plant.jpg Don't invite any police friends over for a look. Here is another pic with 2 DEA agents helping to harvest. http://news.humcounty.com/images/gig...uana_plant.jpg

It's not pot. Although now that you mention it, the similarity may have been part of its appeal. But seriously, it's more "little tree" like than weedy and it has no aroma or buds or flowers. And the leaves are more fingers than hands.

It looks like a plant of the schefflera family.

Looks like a False Aralia I planted in my garden last year. Being in CT it did not make it through the winter of coarse (not hardy in zone 5/6). I should have potted it up at the end of the summer for indoor winter.
