When did this start? Did you install anything that precipitated this problem?

What operating system are you using? What patch level?

Have you performed any driver updates recently (especially video drivers)?

I have not installed any driver updates that I know of.

I've got a bunch of other questions to ask.

To find your patch level, right-click on "My Computer" and select "Properties". At the top of the form it will say

    System:
    Microsoft Windows XP
    <home or professional>
    Version 2002
    Service Pack ###

The Service Pack is your patch level.

What is your current screen resolution.

What version of Outlook are you using? (Click on the "Help" menu item and select "About Microsoft Outlook" or "About Microsoft Office Outlook" or "About ... (whatever it says)". When you open that up, Just give me the year (2002, 2003, 2007, whatever).

Do you have any Outlook Add-Ins or Macros that are running? Click <TOOLS><Macros><Macro> and tell me if there are any macros listed in the form that pops up. If you have the "Visual Basic" entry, click on the "Visual Basic Editor" and tell me if any projects appear on the left side (it will create a default Project1", but if nothing is shown beneath it, the answer is "no").

I googled this question, and Microsoft indicates that this isn't possible (but that's just Microsoft)-- that to change the resolution, you need to do it from the desktop.

What is your current screen resolution?

Maybe I should also ask the video card and the montor type.

I found another AMHD thread similar to this:

    https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/window...ion-15574.html

Right-click on the link that you're using to launch Outlook and select "Properties". Click on the "Compatibility" tab and see if anything is checked under there (like "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" or "Run this program in compatibility mode for...")

Alternatively, locate OUTLOOK.EXE and recreate a new shortcut to it and replace whatever shortcut you're using with the new one.
