Hmm... I know how to draw 2,2 dimethylpropan-1-amine... what did you exactly mean by N, N

Or perhaps I've not done so yet at school...

I don't know, I was thinking the same thing
Because I did one for 2,2,3-trimethylhexane
So I know how to do them kind of ones
But this NN business has well confused me

    I originally did

    H
    H HCH H H H
    H - C - C - N - C - C - C - H
    H H H H H

That was like 6 months ago though, so I really don't know wer I got that from :/

Drew it on Paint, saved it, go to Manage Attachments on Go advanced button below the posting box and uploaded the pic. I know.. the forum removes spaces if you put many.

    Hope my sketch helped! :)

The N,N-dimethyl indicates that the dimethyls are attached to the amine nitrogen, as Unknown008 drew it.

I think Unknown008 and I would appreciate it if you would remember us in your will ;)
