    Muffled hearing and ringing in right ear.
    Hello,
    My name is Heather and I'm 20 yrs old. I woke up yesterday morning after sleeping outside with a really high pitched ringing in my ear. I also noticed I couldn't hear out of it either. The ringing has subsided but it still comes and goes. The not being able to hear, has changed to muffled. I'm really worried because I didn't think I could lose my hearing, being so young.

    I haven't been doing anything latley like concerts that could damage my ear, so I'm not sure if it is an ear infection and how it could have came on so quickly. I also noticed a little bit of pain for a short period today.

    Please help me out, your answers would be greatly appreciated.

    You should stop into the doctors office have them take a look.
