    Resistor and current graph (RI graph). How should it look like?
    Hi. I have an important question on school homework. We recently did an experiment on electric current bulb and I'm wondering how should the RI graph look like? Slope,straight line or curve? We used a filament light bulb in this experiment. Any site which refers to this matter is good enough. :confused:

    Ohms law: V=IR

    If the voltage is constant, the IR curve would be expected to be constant. It won't be. The resistance of the filament changes as it heats up. So Ohm's law will be V = I f(T) where T is the temperature of the filament. Then again, the temperature is a function of current so V = I f(I).

    The line will be curved.
