If the WBC is increased, there is evidence of infection.

How do you know she does not have an infection? Many infections have no symptoms aside from an increased WBC.

It can be leukemia, but the WBC has to be dramatically increased. Way way way out of the norm. Like 51,000 or more for them to be considering leukemia.

11,500 is a slight infection. Numbers like this are common with illnesses such as strep throat.
