    Yucky fleas!
Okay, my dog has fleas and I am in the works of getting rid of them. But it's grossing me out and I feel all yucky and I'm paranoid that they are on me & in my hair! I don't even want to go home! Can they live in my hair as well? What do I do? Yuck!

Heh, I would totally feel the same way.

I think until they're gone you should probably shut your bedroom door and keep your doggy out so you don't end up with bed buggys.

I'm not sure what you've already tried but I think flea collars work pretty well, there's also flea shampoos...

I hope this stuff works and the buggys go away! Good luck.

Flea collars are not ineffective. I havea stray cat that comes to visit me but refuses to be housebroken. She had lots of ticks, and lots and lots of fleas on her when she first came. She refused to let me give her any kind of bath, my vet suggested a flea collar and it worked she no longer eccesively scratches and the ticks are gone too.

I hope you are using a full court press on the fleas, a modern remedy for the dog such as Revolution, Program, Advantage, etc. flea bombing the house and treating the yard. Don't forget the car if it rides much.

I don't know about you hair specifically, but yes they may try you. I think normal bathing will help as long as you are getting rid of them. They do prefer dogs and other animals.

I agree. Using a flea product such as Revolution in addition to spraying (or bombing) your house, is your best option. Thorough vacuuming of all areas after spraying is also suggested. Having your animal on a product like Revolution each year (year-round in some areas) is highly recommended to make sure you don't have to go through this again.

I feel for you. Even the mention of fleas and I start to get all itchy. Fleas love some people. I'm one of them. Once your animal and home are flea-free, however, you should have no problem.

The ONLY place for a flea collar is in the vacuum.
