    Sure - if the outcome of something can be influenced by two factors, then you have it. Some examples:

    The distance you throw a ball is dependent on the velocity of the ball as it leaves your hand and the angle of travel relative to the ground.

    The time it takes a glass of water to turn to ice in your freezer is dependent on the volume of water and the starting temperature of the water.

    The time it takes for a ball to roll down an incline is dependent on the angle and length of the incline.

    I'm sure you can think of others.
