How do you put a lien on a Semi-truck 18 wheeler
Is there ANY way to put a lien on his semi-truck to ensure I get my spousal support since that is the only asset we have AND to prevent him from selling the truck without my getting my share?

How would I go about putting a lien on the truck without a lawyer
    He is in Minnesota.

    Thanks

The same as putting a lien on any tangible property. Hire a lawyer and he can do it easily.

Semi truck depreciation [ 1 Answers ]

We bought a semi in may of 2005. Our accountant did not use any depreciation that year, because our expenses were so high he said he could save it. I need to file for 2006 & 2007. I know a semi depreciates in 3 years. What amount do I use for 2006? And for 2007. We sold the semi in April 2007.
