    Outside faucets don't work
I moved here about 7 years ago. There are two faucets outside for water usage. Each year the water came out less and less. First in the back of the house and then on the side of the house. How can I get these faucets running again?

The main line is galvanized, but the line to the faucet is copper. There is a shut off valve inside the house. I turned the faucet on yesterday and nothing came out but I could hear the water running in the house.

Does the area you live in see below freezing temps? If so you may have a split hose bibb. This usually happens if the hose was left hooked up outside during the winter. Try this, put your finger over the outlet of bibb and see if you can stop pressure by hand. If you can, you need to find the area inside the house where the outside faucet is connected. If its in a crawl space, which I'm assuming it is(other wise you would have noticed water damage inside), then you need to get in and replace the complete faucet(hose bibb). Let me know more on this. I think we are on the right track.
